In this role you’ll be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and preventative maintenance of the Grand Rapids Downtown Market facilities and property. This role requires day to day observation and action (proactive and reactive) to maintain both the cosmetic appearance and the structural life and integrity of the Downtown Market, including the safety of its staff, tenants, and visitors.

We are in search of a Facilities Crew team member to join our amazing team. In this role you’ll work Wednesday through Sunday starting between 1p and 5p until between 10:30p and 1:30am (depending on the event schedule each day). The Facilities Crew team member assists in creating amazing first impressions and guest satisfaction by keeping all indoor and outdoor areas of the Market clean and welcoming. Additionally, this team member assists with event setups and tear-downs and partners with the Greenhouse, Events, and Culinary teams on various janitorial projects.

We're seeking team players who can work both collaboratively and independently as required. This role offers flexibility, with hours ranging from 15 to 20+ per week. Additionally, candidates must be available for two weekends per month and some early evenings. Our store operates Monday through Thursday, 11 am to 7 pm, Friday 11 am to 8 pm, Saturday 10 am to 8 pm, and Sunday 10 am to 7 pm.
