Join us for the virtual Winter Celiac Cooking Class! These classes are focused on Celiac Disease management and learning how to cook delicious gluten-free dishes using seasonal ingredients. For this class, we will be making dishes to keep you warm and cozy during the winter months. We will start with an introduction to the pathophysiology of celiac disease and then our Culinary Medicine chef will guide you through preparing some gluten-free dishes in your home kitchen. When we are done, you will have some delicious food to enjoy!
You are encouraged to cook along with the chef in the comforts of your home kitchen. Family members are welcome to join in on the cooking experience as well. If you prefer not to cook, you can also watch and listen to the cooking demonstration and then later try making the recipes on a different day.
The menu will include:
- Butternut Squash and Cannellini Bean Quesadilla
- One Pot Bean Chili
- Dark Chocolate Truffles
The class will be held virtually using Zoom. For anyone who registers and is unable to join during the designated time, the session will be recorded, and the link will be emailed out the next day and viewable for up to 5 days.
