Beginning Knife Skills

While enjoying a light snack, you will learn basic knife techniques, knife handling, and these essential types of cuts: mince, dice, brunoise, and julienne. This class will cover proper sharpening techniques (bring your own knife if you want) and proper knife selection to make you feel more confident in the kitchen. You’ll use these skills to create a flavorful stock and a ginger teriyaki stir-fry for an enjoyable meal.
