Retail Sales Staff

Location: Making Thyme Kitchen


Making Thyme Kitchen is an owner operated, one-of-a-kind, small food business that produces made-from-scratch entrees, sides, salads, and desserts. We sell our products by the lb. and pre-packaged from our retail stores at the Downtown Market and on Northland Drive, and through our delivery service. 

Experience with and ability to strictly adhere to food code.
Work well with other people and treat everyone with respect.
Are willing and capable of doing whatever needs to be done including: wait on customers, open and close retail, keep cases stocked and clean, communicate with kitchen, take phone orders and answer customer questions.
Take direction, and are self motivated.
Responsible and mature.
Provide exceptional customer service to everyone.
Knowledgeable about food and can answer all customer questions.
Strong work ethic.
Available for flexible scheduling, specifically closing shifts and weekends.

Have minimum of two years experience serving customers.
Maintain a spotless retail space, clean cases, maintain food displays.
Make change in your head without a calculator.
Stay productive on a slow or hectic day.
Open and close retail environment.

Part time - 20 to 35 hours a week.
Year round position.
References required.
