Location: Gaby’s Gourmandise

Gaby’s Gourmandise is an authentic French bakery and patisserie, lead by a French chef. In our open-concept kitchen, you will prepare, bake, and cook a variety of classic French sweet and savory items. A small selection of these items includes tartes, quiches, madeleines, and brioche. Under the supervision of Chef Gaby, you will quickly hone your skills and become an expert on our delicious menu and all things French! This is not just a job, we are seeking staff with a passion for food and executing it with a workmanship who are willing and eager to learn from a professional chef and want to be part of a new, growing business.

What we're looking for:

  • Attention to detail; ensuring ingredients and recipes are prepared correctly and with precision
  • Team player; be willing to give and ask for help, and anticipate what comes next
  • Experience working in a commercial kitchen
  • An interest in learning and becoming knowledgeable of French baked goods and pastry items, previous knowledge a plus
  • Be able to respond to guest questions when asked about how items are prepared
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. and repeatedly bend, reach and twist; you’re constantly on the move
  • Must be at least 18 years old
